It gives data on needs for liver transplantation, defines indications for its use, and considers main methods for grafting the liver from a living-related donor, the issues of immunosuppression, and legal and deontological problems. It also presents the results of 31 transplantations of the left lateral section of the liver from a living-related donor, which have been done at the A.A.
